The Groz Chrome Vanadium Side Cutting Pliers are designed to protect the user while working in live wire working scenarios. Tested to VDE standards, these pliers are shock-proof with a dual color TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) grip and an integrated hand guard that insulates up to 1000V AC.

These pliers are made from Chrome Vanadium that is individually forged, hardened to 35-50 HRC, and tempered for unparalleled durability. The smoothly ground head with a polished finish and induction-hardened cutting edges (52-60 HRC) together with the rubber hand guard enable these pliers to be used for cutting wires.
