Pliers for gripping, positioning and cutting
The 140 mm long compact Knipex 25 01 140 which is pointed at the front can be used for a wide range of jobs. These needle nose pliers are suitable for the fine, measured gripping and holding of components, but also for the powerful cutting of cable and wire.
The shape of the cutting edges on the Knipex 25 01 140 results in an efficient bite type cut. Thanks to the additional induction hardening of the blades (cutting edge hardness approx. 61 HRC), it powerfully cuts cable, soft and medium-hard wire (cutting capacity Ø 2.5 mm) and even hard wire up to Ø 1.6 mm.
Stable needle nose pliers, also when twisting and during powerful cutting
The precision tips of the Knipex 25 01 140 are elastic and therefore remain stable when twisted. This allows the manual force deployed to be well measured: with more force for securely holding larger components, and less for smaller components. The low effort required when cutting results from the favourable position of the cutting edges near the joint. Manual force is ideally transmitted to the material to be cut
Good working even in confined spaces thanks to slim design
These needle nose pliers are particularly suitable for work in confined spaces. With the slim jaws that are pointed at the front, the user can grip and hold components and wire firmly. These pliers are therefore valued as a particularly useful tool during repairs, maintenance work and installations.
